Polos With Embroidered Logos Your Team Will Actually Wear

A good polo balances structure and comfort, and the collar decides which one it feels like. We make polos in cotton piqué, cotton-poly and performance knits, with stitched collars, matched buttons and clean embroidery. Order from 50 pieces with digitizing included.

Overview

The collar is the product

A polo is judged at the collar and placket. A weak collar curls and loses shape after a few washes, which makes the whole shirt look tired. We use knitted collars on lighter styles and self-fabric collars with interlining on structured ones, and stabilize the placket so buttons sit flat.

Fabric choice sets the personality. Cotton piqué at 200 to 240 GSM is the classic: textured, breathable and durable. Cotton-poly piqué at 180 to 220 GSM resists wrinkling and is common in uniforms. Performance polyester knit at 150 to 180 GSM wicks moisture for golf and sport use.

Embroidery is the standard decoration on polos, with a left chest logo about 8 to 10 cm wide being typical. We digitize your logo at no extra cost, test stitch it on the actual fabric and adjust density. Piqué texture can affect small details, so we sometimes enlarge text slightly for clarity.

Built in

Built for repeated wear and wash

Structured collars

Collars are knitted or interlined to hold their shape, and the collar stand is set to sit neatly around the neck. This keeps the polo looking sharp through repeated washes and wear.

Button and placket quality

We use matched or contrast buttons sewn with reinforced stitching, and a placket with a stabilizing tape. Two to three button plackets are available, in standard or hidden styles.

Side vents and hem

Side vents allow movement and help the polo hang correctly whether worn tucked or untucked. We can also offer a curved hem for a more modern look.

Brand-ready detail

Custom neck labels, sleeve tape, woven badges and contrast collar tipping give a polo a distinct identity. These details help brands and companies stand out among similar basics.

Options

Branding a polo shirt

Tell us your fabric preference, logo and quantities. We will return a quote, a digitized proof and a mockup. Minimums start at 50 pieces per style and colour.

01

Left chest embroidery

The standard approach. A digitized logo is stitched in a precise position, usually 10 to 12 cm below the shoulder seam and centred on the chest. Thread colours are matched to your brand palette.

02

Sleeve and back details

A small sleeve logo or a nape embroidery adds polish. We keep stitch count moderate to avoid heaviness on lighter fabrics, and place decoration to avoid the seam.

03

Printed and transfer options

Screen print and DTF suit larger graphics and work on piqué, although texture may affect small text. On performance knits we recommend heat transfer or sublimation-friendly options.

04

Contrast trims and tipping

Contrast collar and cuff tipping, striped collars and coloured buttons turn a basic polo into a team or brand shirt. We confirm trim colours with physical swatches before sampling.

Buyers

Who orders this

Polo shirts are the default choice for uniforms and branded workwear, but they also work in retail lines. Buyers want durability, consistent sizing across reorders and logos that stay crisp through years of use.

  • Corporate teams needing consistent branded staff uniforms
  • Golf clubs and sports clubs outfitting members
  • Hospitality, retail and service staff uniform programs
  • Schools and universities supplying staff and team polos
  • Brands launching retail polos with a premium finish
Durability

Care & durability

Wash at 30 to 40 degrees and tumble dry low. Button the placket before washing and turn the shirt inside out to protect embroidery. Iron on medium heat, avoiding the stitched logo.

Piqué cotton wears in and keeps its structure with careful laundering. Embroidery is durable and, together with a stabilized collar, helps the polo keep its appearance across many wears.

FAQ

Polo shirt questions, answered

Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most. Anything missing? Send an inquiry and we will reply within one business day.

Piqué is textured, breathable and more structured, and it hides wear well. Jersey is smoother and lighter, with a softer drape. Piqué is the classic uniform choice, while jersey suits a casual, modern look.

We can dye to match many brand colours at volume, and we can match thread colours to Pantone references. For small runs we use the nearest stock colour. Confirm exact shades with a physical swatch.

Most polo styles start at 50 pieces per style and colour. Colour dyeing to a custom shade may have a higher minimum. Your account manager will confirm for your specific request.

Yes. Women's patterns have a shaped body, narrower shoulders and adjusted sleeve and collar proportions. We grade them separately, so each size fits properly rather than being a scaled men's cut.

We use a positioning template at a set distance from the shoulder seam and centre line. Placement is verified on the sample and again during production, so every shirt in the order looks the same.
