The sleeveless jersey, done properly
The basketball jersey looks simple, but the armhole is where it succeeds or fails. A hole cut too low shows the torso and rubs under the arm. A hole cut too tight restricts shooting. We use a shaped, binding-trimmed armhole with a gentle curve, which gives freedom for shooting and rebounding while staying in place during play.
Fabric is sublimated polyester mesh. Waffle and birdseye weaves give more airflow, while a smooth interlock gives a sharper print. Many teams choose a hybrid with mesh sides and a smooth front panel. Shorts use a lightweight stretch mesh with a wide elastic waistband, an internal drawcord and a side stripe or contrast panel.
Reversible uniforms are popular for schools and rec leagues, because one set serves as both home and away colours. We bond two layers at the neck and armhole so the garment flips without shifting. Numbers are printed on both sides, which makes inventory simple. You can also order a separate, single-layer home and away set.

On-court details
Shaped armholes
Armholes are cut with a curve that keeps the jersey in place during shooting, and they are finished with a binding that does not roll. Wider cuts suit taller players, while narrower cuts give a modern look.
Reversible construction
Two matching-weight layers are joined at the neck and armholes and tacked at the hem. The result is a jersey that flips without twisting, with no visible seams on the outside.
Shorts with room
Shorts are cut longer and looser, with a stretch waistband and optional pockets. Side vents allow movement in a lunge. We can match the stripe on the shorts to the jersey trim.
Breathable mesh
A vented mesh across the back and sides helps heat escape through a game. For indoor gyms, a lighter mesh keeps players comfortable, while thicker knits suit cooler outdoor courts.

Large front and back numbers
Numbers are printed large for visibility from the bench and the stands. We follow common league guidance on size and stroke width, and ask you to confirm any federation or school rules in your inquiry.
Player names
Names can be printed across the shoulders or along the hem. Surnames fit best on a single line, and we adjust letter height so long names remain readable and centred.
Sublimated team graphics
Pattern panels, side stripes, gradient fades and city-style lettering all print into the fabric. There is no extra weight or stitching, so the design never cracks or peels with washing.
Warm-ups and shooting shirts
Shooting shirts, warm-up tops and pants can be made from the same artwork, so the full programme matches. They share colour values across fabrics for a consistent team look.

Care & durability
Wash basketball jerseys in cool water, turn them inside out, and hang to dry. Avoid heavy fabric softeners and high heat, which can affect mesh breathability and heat-pressed numbers.
Sublimation does not crack or fade like surface print, so colours remain strong through the season. Flatlock seams and bound armholes resist the pulling that comes from rebounding and tight defence.

How do reversible sets work?
Each jersey has two layers, one in each colour, joined at the neck and armholes. Players can wear either side. Numbers are printed on both sides. Shorts can be reversible too, with matching colours.
What armhole style should we choose?
A standard curve works for most teams, while a wider cut suits taller players. We send size charts and can sample two armhole shapes, so you can test the feel before placing a bulk order.
Can I order different numbers in one design?
Yes. Sublimated jerseys are printed per garment, so numbers, names and sizes can be mixed across a roster. We use your roster spreadsheet to build files and check every shirt against it.
Do you offer women's basketball cuts?
Yes. Women's jerseys have a shaped body and adjusted armhole, and shorts have a different hip and waist cut. We grade them separately, rather than relying on unisex patterns, so the fit is right.
What is the best fabric for an indoor gym?
A lightweight polyester mesh works well indoors, since it breathes and dries quickly. For outdoor play or cooler weather, a heavier interlock gives warmth. We can send swatches so you can choose.
