Lightweight kit for overhead play
Badminton demands constant overhead action. Smashes, clears and drops all put the arm above the head, so a shirt that rides up or pulls at the armhole becomes a problem within minutes. We cut badminton tops with raglan or generous set-in sleeves and a longer back hem, so the shirt stays down while the arm stays free.
Hall temperatures can be high and humidity rises during long sessions. We use lightweight polyester mesh and micro-interlock fabrics in the 110 to 150 gsm range, with moisture-wicking finishes that move sweat out and dry fast. Mesh panels at the underarms and back increase airflow, and flat seams avoid chafing around the shoulder.
Bottoms include shorts with an elastic waist and a ball pocket, skirts with built-in shorts, and skorts for women’s teams. Everything is made to the same colour specification as the shirts. Doubles pairs often want matching but not identical kit, so we can vary trim or panel colours within one design.

Built for the overhead swing
Free-moving sleeves
Raglan and enlarged armhole cuts let the arm travel overhead without pulling the shirt. Cuffs are cut loose, so wrist action stays unrestricted during fast exchanges at the net.
Airflow where heat builds
Mesh panels under the arms and across the upper back release heat during long rallies. The knit is soft and dries quickly, so it does not cling to the skin between games.
Longer back hem
A slightly longer back keeps the shirt in position during deep lunges and overhead shots. Side vents give extra room for movement, and the hem lies flat, with no rolling.
Pocketed shorts
Shorts can include a small inner pocket for a spare shuttle, along with a flat drawcord. Women's skorts use built-in shorts with soft leg bands that do not ride up during lunges.
Names, numbers and team looks

Player names
Names can sit on the back across the shoulders, or on the sleeve. Badminton teams often use names for tournaments and television, so we size them for readability.
Team numbers
Numbers are less common in badminton, but team events and school competitions often use them. We place numbers where your competition requires, and check size guidance before printing.
Sublimated artwork
Panels, gradients, geometric lines and brand patterns print right into the fabric, with no weight added. It suits clubs wanting a sharp design that does not restrict movement.
Club crests and sponsors
Crests and sponsors can be embroidered, heat transferred or sublimated. We check regulations for logo size, and create a layout that keeps the front clear for the club badge.

Care & durability
Light knit washes easily. Use cool water, turn shirts inside out and hang to dry. Avoid fabric softener and high heat, which can reduce wicking, and wash dark colours with similar shades.
Flat seams, reinforced shoulder joins and sublimated prints that never crack help the kit survive frequent sessions. A micro-interlock knit resists pilling, so it stays smooth.

Which fabric is best for hot halls?
A lightweight polyester mesh or micro-interlock between 110 and 150 gsm works best. It wicks sweat and dries fast. We can combine mesh underarms with a smooth front panel for printing.
Do you make doubles pairs in matching kits?
Yes. Doubles pairs can wear identical or coordinated kits. We can use the same design with a different trim colour for each player, so pairs look matched but each player stays distinct.
Can skirts and skorts include shorts?
Yes. Skirts and skorts have built-in shorts, usually with a soft leg band to avoid riding up. A small ball pocket can be added, and we offer several lengths.
Are there kit rules for tournaments?
Some tournaments set rules for logo sizes and shirt colours. Please send your tournament rules with your inquiry. We adapt the mockup so it meets them, and you can share it with organisers.
Can we order juniors and adults in one design?
Yes. We grade youth sizes for smaller frames and shorter sleeves. Juniors and adults can share one design and be ordered together, with mixed sizes allowed within a single order.
