Fishing Jerseys That Shrug Off Sun and Spray

A fishing day means sun on the water, spray, scales and sunscreen. BERMGOODS makes sublimated fishing jerseys in UV-aware, vented polyester with long sleeves, hoods and thumb holes, perfect for tournament teams, charter operators and clubs that want sponsor-ready shirts.

Overview

Sun protection first, branding second

Fishing shirts live outdoors for eight to twelve hours, often on open water with no shade. Sun protection, ventilation and quick drying matter more than any other feature. We build jerseys from lightweight polyester with a tight knit, which reduces sun penetration, and with vented panels at the back and underarms to move air on hot days.

Cut options include a long-sleeve crew neck, a collared shirt, a hooded pullover and a quarter-zip. Thumb holes keep sleeves in place and protect the backs of hands, while a high collar covers the neck. Many anglers wear the shirt over a base layer in cooler weather, so we cut it with room in the chest and arms for casting.

Sublimation suits fishing well. Colour sits in the fibre, so it does not crack when scrunched into a tackle box, and it resists sunscreen, fish slime and salt. Tournament teams use bold designs with sponsor panels, species artwork or camouflage water patterns. All of it can be laid out in one design file, with matching caps and buffs.

Features for a day on the water

Casting-friendly cut

Sleeves and armholes are cut with room for an overhead cast and a wide reach. The body is long enough to stay down when bending over a boat rail or cooler.

UV-aware knit

A tight, lightweight knit reduces the sun reaching the skin. Long sleeves, a high collar and optional hood add coverage, and thumb holes protect the backs of the hands.

Vented panels

Mesh vents at the back and underarms let air through under a life vest or in light wind. Fabric dries quickly after splashes and sweat, and does not hold odour as quickly.

Stain and fade resistance

Sublimated colour resists sunscreen, salt water and fish residue. Seams are flat and stitched with polyester thread that handles repeated rinsing in fresh and salt water.

Options

Branding for tournaments and charters

Send your team name, sponsors and design ideas, plus the style you prefer. We will return a mockup and a production plan.

01

Sponsor panels

Tournament sponsors like large placements. We lay out chest, shoulder, sleeve and back panels with sizes agreed in advance, and send a clean layout that sponsors can approve.

02

Team and angler names

Angler names go on the chest or sleeve, with team names on the back. We size letters so they can be read from a distance, such as on a weigh-in stage.

03

Species and water artwork

Full-body sublimation allows species illustrations, wave patterns and camouflage backgrounds across the jersey. Since there is no stitched artwork, it does not snag on hooks.

04

Caps, buffs and hoods

Caps, neck buffs and hooded shirts can be made in matching artwork. They help teams look coordinated on the water, and offer extra sun protection.

Durability

Care & durability

Rinse jerseys in fresh water after salt exposure, then wash in cool water and hang to dry. Avoid bleach and high heat. Sunscreen and fish residue wash out best when treated promptly.

Tight knit polyester resists snagging, and sublimated colour does not peel or crack. Flat seams and reinforced hems handle repeated washing between trips.

FAQ

Fishing jersey questions

Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most. Anything missing? Send an inquiry and we will reply within one business day.

The tight-knit polyester reduces sun exposure, and long sleeves, collars and hoods add coverage. We do not claim a specific certified rating, but we can discuss fabric options and swatches for your conditions.

Yes. Thumb holes and hoods can be added to long-sleeve designs. They add sun protection and help sleeves stay in place when casting. Collars and quarter-zip necks are also available.

Yes. Colour is part of the fabric and does not sit on top, so it resists many common residues. Rinsing after use and avoiding bleach helps jerseys last.

We build a layout with sponsor sizes and positions, and send it for approval. Sponsors can often sign off on a mockup before printing. Some tournaments set rules for logo sizes, which we can follow.

Yes. Our minimum is 50 pieces, and mixed sizes are allowed. For smaller needs, ask us about print-on-demand options. We can also reorder the same design when crew members change.
