Outerwear Engineered for Weather, Wear and Your Label
Outerwear is where construction shows. We build custom jackets and vests with the right shell, insulation, lining and hardware for how they will actually be worn. From varsity wool and melton to ripstop shells and puffer baffles, we sample first and produce from 50 pieces.
Outerwear is built in layers, so we plan it that way
A jacket is three decisions made together: the shell, what sits inside it, and how it is joined. Change one and the other two feel it. A heavier shell needs stronger seams and zips. A thicker fill needs more room in the armhole. A waterproof membrane needs sealed or taped seams to deliver on its promise.
We start every jacket development with those questions. Where will it be worn, in what temperature, over what layers, and how often will it be washed? The answers decide fabric weight, fill type, lining and hardware, and they keep your price target honest before we cut a single panel.
Our range covers heritage styles like letterman and varsity jackets, insulated puffers, technical shells, workwear-inspired denim and urban vests. All are available private label, with your own labels, trims and decoration.
Construction details we control
Shell fabric selection
Nylon taffeta, polyester ripstop, twill, melton wool, denim and stretch softshell each behave differently. We match fabric weight, finish and handfeel to the style, and confirm any water repellent treatment before sampling.
Insulation and fill
Puffers and ski jackets use polyester fill, recycled fill or down alternatives, quilted into baffles that hold loft. We set fill weight to your temperature target and test the sample for cold spots.
Zips, snaps and hardware
Metal and resin zips, snap buttons, drawcords and toggles are sourced to match the garment's weight and finish. We can engrave or emboss custom pullers and hardware with your logo at suitable volumes.
Seam sealing and waterproofing
Rain and ski jackets can be built with taped seams, waterproof zips and storm flaps. We explain what each option gives you so the claim on your hang tag matches the garment in the customer's hands.
Linings and interior finish
Quilted, mesh, satin or brushed linings change comfort and price. Interior pockets, taped necks and custom printed linings add a branded detail that customers notice the moment they put the jacket on.
Sample before bulk
We build a full pre-production sample for every new jacket style. You test fit over layers, move in it and check the finishing, then sign off or request changes before we start bulk cutting.

Sleeveless puffers, utility vests and quilted gilets for layering. Quick to develop at lower fabric cost, they suit streetwear collections and corporate fleece alternatives with strong branding space.
How a jacket goes from idea to rack
Spec and mockup
Share your tech pack, reference jacket or inspiration images. We define shell, fill, lining and hardware with you, then create a free mockup showing colours, trims and logo placement for approval.
Pattern and sample
Our pattern makers cut a pre-production sample in your fabric and size. You test fit, mobility and finishing, and we adjust pattern, fill or trims until the sample is exactly what you intended.
Bulk cutting and sewing
After approval, we cut, quilt, sew and decorate your order. Outerwear bulk usually takes 10 to 15 working days, with line checks at cutting, quilting, assembly and final finishing.
Quality control and dispatch
Zips, snaps, seams and fill are inspected against your approved sample. Jackets are folded or hung, bagged and packed to your spec, then shipped worldwide with tracking.
Branding outerwear properly
Jackets reward permanent decoration. Embroidery, tackle twill and custom patches are the classics for varsity, bomber and denim styles, while chenille and felt appliques finish letterman jackets. Woven labels and custom zip pullers add brand detail without extra bulk.
For technical shells and puffers, screen printing, DTF and reflective heat transfers work well and avoid puncturing waterproof fabrics. For rain and ski jackets we advise on placement to protect seam tape and membranes, and we test decoration on a fabric swatch first.
Jackets and vests questions
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most. Anything missing? Send an inquiry and we will reply within one business day.
What is the minimum order for custom jackets?
Most jacket styles start at 50 pieces per style, with colours and sizes split as you need. Complex builds such as technical ski jackets or leather-sleeve lettermans can need a higher quantity for fabric sourcing. Your account manager confirms the minimum for your specific spec.
Can you use my own fabric or fill specification?
Yes. Send a fabric swatch, composition and weight, or a fill specification in grams per square metre, and we will source or match it. If you are unsure, we can recommend options based on temperature range, price target and handfeel.
Are your rain and ski jackets truly waterproof?
It depends on fabric, coating and seam construction. We explain the differences between water-repellent finishes, waterproof coatings and membranes, and between taped and untaped seams. We never make a waterproof claim for you. We can supply fabric test details if available for the material chosen.
Do you make jackets in extended size ranges?
We grade patterns across your size range, including extended and youth sizes. Each size set is checked against the fit sample so proportions hold across the range. Tell us your size chart at the start and we build the grading from it.
Can I get a sample before the full order?
Every new jacket style goes through a pre-production sample. Mockups are free. Sample cost and timing depend on the complexity of the jacket, and your account manager confirms both up front so there are no surprises before you approve bulk.
How do you ship large, bulky orders?
Puffers and insulated jackets are compressed and vacuum-packed where appropriate to reduce volume and shipping cost. We ship worldwide by air, sea or express courier, and your account manager helps choose the right option for your timeline and budget.
