Blank Polos That Embroider Cleanly and Wear Smart
Polos are the uniform of corporate teams, golf clubs and hospitality staff. We supply blank polo shirts in pique, jersey and performance fabrics, with collars, plackets and buttons built for embroidery and long daily wear, ready to carry your logo straight from the carton.
- Cotton pique and performance fabrics
- Collars that hold their shape
- 180 to 240 GSM weights
- Embroidery-ready construction
The smart casual blank for uniforms and teamwear
A polo has more parts than a tee, and each one affects quality. The collar needs enough body to stand without curling. The placket must lie flat with sturdy buttons and reinforced stitching. The sleeve and hem need clean finishing. Faults here are visible straight away on a uniform.
Fabric choice splits into three families. Cotton pique has a textured surface that hides sweat and handles heavy wear, usually at 200 to 240 GSM. Cotton jersey is smoother and lighter at 180 to 200 GSM. Polyester performance pique wicks moisture, suiting golf, sport and hot environments.
Because polos are embroidered so often, we build them for it. The chest area is stable enough to hold stitches without puckering, and we can supply a small number of garments pre-marked for logo placement. Collar and sleeve ribs come in matching or contrast colours for team and brand identity.

Where a good polo differs from a cheap one
Collars with memory
Collars use stable knit with an interlined or tipped finish so they stand cleanly and do not curl after washing. Collar stays are available for a sharper uniform look.
Reinforced placket and buttons
Two or three buttons are sewn with a cross-stitch and backed by placket tape. Quality buttons resist cracking in the wash and stay fixed through heavy use.
Fabric for the environment
Cotton pique for comfort and durability, polyester pique for sweat management in heat. We can recommend based on climate, work type and care routine.
Embroidery-ready chest
Stable fabric and the right surface texture support clear left-chest logos. We test stitch quality on your fabric so the logo reads sharply without puckering.
Branding a polo shirt
Tell us your quantity, sizes, artwork and target date. Our team replies with a quote, free mockup and sample options, usually within one working day, so you can compare before you commit.
Left chest embroidery
The standard for polos. A logo of about 8 to 10 cm width sits neatly on the chest. We digitise the logo and test on your exact fabric to avoid sinking into pique texture.
Sleeve and back hits
Small sleeve logos, nape prints and back yoke details add a second branding position. They suit teams and clubs that want extra visibility from every angle.
Contrast trims
Collar, cuff and placket in contrast colours, with matching buttons, create a distinct team look. Specify Pantone references and we dye to match.
Woven labels and tags
Custom neck labels, side-seam flags and printed inner tape give a retail-ready product. They also help brand the polo when you prefer no external decoration.
Who orders this
Polos are bought for consistency and presentation. Buyers usually order in sets of sizes across a team, and many reorder each year as staff change, so repeat accuracy of colour and fit is a real priority.
- Corporate buyers outfitting staff, sales and reception teams
- Golf clubs and sports clubs ordering member and staff polos
- Restaurants, hotels and venues needing smart uniforms
- Schools and colleges supplying staff and sports polos
- Embroidery shops stocking blanks for corporate customers
Care & durability
Polos are designed for frequent washing. Wash at 30 to 40 degrees, close the placket buttons, and avoid high-heat drying. Hang or tumble on low, and remove promptly to keep the collar flat.
Cotton pique resists pilling and keeps its texture. Performance pique keeps its wicking if you avoid softener. Reinforced stitching and quality buttons help the shirt stay presentable for years of uniform use.
Questions buyers ask about blank polo shirts
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most. Anything missing? Send an inquiry and we will reply within one business day.
Cotton pique or polyester, which should I choose?
Cotton pique feels natural, hides sweat marks and wears well. Polyester pique wicks moisture and dries fast, better for golf and hot work. Blends offer a middle route. We can send swatches to compare.
Do you offer women's fit polos?
Yes. Women's patterns have a shaped body, narrower shoulders and sized sleeves, rather than a scaled-down men's cut. We recommend ordering a split of fits for team orders, and can sample each before bulk.
What size logo works best on a polo chest?
Roughly 8 to 10 cm wide on the left chest suits most adult sizes. Smaller sizes may need a slightly smaller logo. We confirm size and position on your mockup and test the stitch on your fabric.
Can the collar and cuffs be a different colour?
Yes. Contrast collars, cuffs and placket tape are possible, and matching buttons too. Minimums are normally 50 pieces per colour combination. We will dye to match your Pantone or swatch.
Will the collar stay flat after washing?
A good collar uses stable knit and a proper finish, which keeps it flat through many washes. Closing the placket and drying promptly help. We test collar recovery on samples before approving the batch.
