A sport bra has to hold, wick and stay comfortable through a workout. We build ours from 200 to 280 GSM nylon-spandex and polyester-elastane, with options for low, medium or high support, removable padding and bonded edges. Private label from 50 pieces, sample first.

Support level drives every decision
Sport bra design starts with impact level. Low-impact styles for yoga and pilates use lighter knit and minimal structure. Medium-impact styles for cycling and gym training add a wider underband and stronger strap. High-impact styles for running need compression, encapsulation and adjustable straps or closures.
Fabric is a performance knit. We use nylon-spandex at 220 to 280 GSM for a smooth, buttery, high-recovery feel, and polyester-elastane at 200 to 260 GSM for a more durable, quick-dry option. Elastane content typically runs 15 to 25%, giving the stretch and retention that sport bras demand.
Construction details protect comfort. Underbands use wide elastic with a soft finish, edges are bonded or bound to avoid chafing, and seams are flatlocked. Cups can be fully lined or have removable pads, and we run fit samples on multiple sizes before we approve a pattern, since fit changes sharply with cup and band.

Performance features built in
Impact-matched structure
Compression, band width and strap geometry are set for the target activity. Higher-impact styles use more encapsulation and tension, while lighter styles prioritize softness and freedom of movement.
Moisture management
Wicking yarns and breathable mesh panels move sweat away from the body. Mesh back panels or inserts increase airflow, and double-layer fronts add opacity without trapping heat.
Chafe-free finishing
Bonded or bound edges, flatlock seams and soft elastic prevent rubbing at the underband, straps and armholes. These details matter most in repetitive movement, such as running.
Padding choices
Removable moulded or flat foam pads can be sewn into a lined pocket. Pads give shape and modesty, and removable options let customers choose, which can reduce returns.

Heat transfer and silicone print
These methods flex with high-stretch fabric, and resist cracking. Silicone prints add a grippy, premium feel on bands and straps. We test stretch and recovery on a sample piece before production.
Sublimation on polyester
On polyester-elastane, sublimation gives full colour, edge-to-edge patterns without adding hand. It does not work on nylon, so we advise on fabric choice when you plan a patterned design.
Woven and printed labels
Printed inside labels are most comfortable against the skin. We can also add small woven side or back labels. Both can carry size, care and branding without scratching.
Hardware and trims
Adjustable straps, hook-and-eye closures, branded elastic and metal sliders can all be specified. We provide a trim card for approval, since these elements affect support and hand feel.

Care & durability
Wash cold on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag, and hang dry. Avoid fabric softener, bleach and high heat, all of which can damage elastane and reduce support over time.
Quality nylon-spandex and poly-elastane keep recovery through many wears when cared for properly. Support gradually declines with heavy use, so we suggest rotating bras and replacing them regularly.

How do you decide the support level?
We start with the target activity and work backward. Low-impact styles use light compression, and high-impact ones add encapsulation, wider bands and adjustable straps. We run fit samples to check support, so the design matches your claims.
Do you need a fit sample for every style?
Yes. Sport bras are fit-sensitive, so we always make a sample, ideally tested on more than one size. We adjust pattern, elastic and strap tension before approving the bulk run, which protects your brand reputation.
Can I choose nylon or polyester?
Yes. Nylon-spandex feels softer and smoother, with excellent recovery. Polyester-elastane is more durable, dries faster and works with sublimation. We can send swatches and discuss which suits your range and price point.
Are removable pads available?
Yes. We can sew a lined pocket and insert removable moulded or flat pads. We confirm pad size and thickness on the sample, since they affect shape, opacity and how the garment feels against the body.
Can you make extended band and cup sizes?
Extended sizing is possible, but requires its own grading and fit samples. Tell us your target range in the inquiry, and we will advise on feasibility, sampling plan and minimums for those sizes.
