Length that is added where it is needed
A tall tee is not a regular tee with extra fabric tacked on. A tall customer needs added length in the body, the sleeve and often the shoulder to arm line, while the chest and shoulder width stay in proportion with the size. We pattern tall sizes separately and add typically 5 to 8 cm to body length.
We build them in 200 to 240 GSM combed cotton, with 220 GSM being a popular choice for a substantial but breathable tee. Longer bodies need fabric with a bit more weight to avoid hanging thin, and a stabilized neck rib to stop the collar stretching under longer garment weight.
Sizes usually run MT to 4XT, with the T denoting the extended length, and we can supply a sample in the size you need. This product is especially useful for teams and businesses that have a few tall wearers, as one order can cover regular and tall sizes with consistent decoration.

What makes a tall tee fit properly
Added body length
Extra length is added at the body between armhole and hem, so the shirt stays tucked or sits properly at hip. Sizing is graded to maintain proportions as the sizes increase.
Longer sleeves
Sleeve length increases on tall styles to match longer arms. We keep sleeve opening in proportion, and the cut ensures sleeves do not look overly long or baggy at the bicep.
Fabric with body
A 220 GSM combed cotton hangs well over a longer body. It resists the see-through look that thin jersey can show, and keeps its shape through the day.
Stable neck and hem
Taped shoulders and a firm rib collar keep longer shirts from twisting or stretching. A wide coverstitch hem helps it hang straight, which matters more on longer bodies.

Back and sleeve prints
Longer bodies suit full back prints with names and numbers, and long sleeves have more space for sleeve graphics. We adjust placement so details sit correctly relative to the shoulder and cuff.
Labels and size marking
Clear size marking is important so tall shirts do not get mixed with regular ones. We print or sew size labels with a T designation and can colour-code packaging if you wish.

Care & durability
Wash cold and tumble dry low, or hang dry. Pre-shrunk cotton keeps length well, but high heat can reduce body length slightly. Turn the shirt inside out to protect any print.
