A good blank tee has to do two jobs. It must feel right to the wearer, and it must behave on the press. Ring-spun combed cotton jersey gives a smooth, tight surface that accepts ink evenly, with fewer loose fibres and less fuzz than open-end yarn.
We work in three weights. At 180 GSM you get a classic everyday tee. At 200 GSM, a mid-weight with more body and opacity. At 220 GSM, a heavier tee that hangs well and suits boxy and streetwear cuts. Each weight is available in regular and oversized patterns.
Construction is where quality shows. Tubular or side-seam bodies, taped necks, shoulder-to-shoulder tape and double-needle hems all affect how long a tee lasts. We pre-shrink fabric and check shrinkage on every lot, so your size chart still holds after the first wash.

What goes into a reliable blank tee
Smooth printing surface
Bio-polished, ring-spun jersey removes surface fibres. Screen print, DTG and DTF lay down more evenly, with sharper edges and brighter colour than on rough open-end cotton.
Weights for different markets
Choose 180 GSM for budget and warm climates, 200 for a balanced everyday tee, or 220 for a premium boxy feel. Opacity and drape change with each step.
Low shrinkage, true sizing
Compacted fabric and pre-washing limit shrinkage to about 3 percent. Measurements are held tightly, so your size run reorders without fit complaints.
Durable neck and seams
Rib or self-fabric collars with back neck tape resist stretching. Double-needle hems and cover-stitched seams hold through years of washing, protecting your decoration.

Care & durability
Combed cotton tees wash well when treated normally. Wash at 30 to 40 degrees, inside out for printed shirts, and avoid high heat in the dryer. Fabric softener can dull prints, so skip it where possible.
Pre-shrunk fabric keeps its shape and colour. Quality neck tape and hems resist stretching and curling, which keeps the tee looking tidy long after cheaper bases have lost shape.

What weight tee should I pick?
180 GSM suits warm climates and budget lines. 200 GSM is a good all-round weight. 220 GSM gives a heavier, boxy streetwear feel. We can send all three swatches so you can check opacity and drape.
Is combed ring-spun cotton worth the cost?
For printing, usually yes. Combed yarn removes short fibres, giving a smoother surface and more even ink. The tee also feels softer and pills less. Open-end cotton can suit very low-cost promo jobs.
Can I get extended sizes?
We offer XS to 3XL on all tees, and up to 5XL on selected styles. Extended sizes can be graded from your base pattern. Check with your account manager so we can confirm the size range and minimums.
Do you stock plain colours or dye to order?
We hold selected core colours, and dye custom shades to your Pantone or swatch. Dyed orders follow the standard lead time, and we check shade against a reference before the batch is cut.
Can I get tees with no neck label?
Yes. Tear-away or printed inner labels remove the scratchy tag and give decorators a clean neck. We can also print your branding inside the collar, which is a common choice for private label.
