Proportion first, then fabric and finish
Cropped garments are unforgiving. If the hem sits at the wrong point, the whole outfit looks off, and a chest print can end up too low. We start with length. We offer standard crops at roughly 45 to 52 cm in a size M, plus a shorter bralette-style crop and a longer semi-crop for broader appeal.
Fabric changes the personality. Cotton jersey at 160 to 200 GSM is the classic. Ribbed cotton at 200 to 220 GSM gives a fitted, stretchy shape and recovers well. A light 260 to 300 GSM fleece or French terry crop suits sweatshirt styling without bulk.
Print and embroidery placement is adjusted for the shorter body. We give your decorator a template showing the safe print area by size and cut. That avoids prints that run into the hem or sit too high on the neckline, which is a common problem with cropped garments.

What makes a crop top work
Length options by size
Body length scales with each size instead of being a fixed cut. This keeps the proportion the same from XS to 2XL and avoids very short or too long hems on extremes.
Rib with recovery
Rib knit with a little elastane keeps its shape and hugs the body. It does not bag out at the hem or neck, which matters on a garment with so little fabric.
Neck and hem finishing
Clean binding, cover-stitched hems and flat seams avoid bulk and irritation. Raw edge and rolled hem finishes are available for a fashion look.

Care & durability
Crop tops need gentle care to keep their shape. Wash at 30 degrees, inside out, and avoid tumble drying on high heat, which can shorten the length. Dry flat or hang to keep rib and jersey true.
Rib with elastane keeps its stretch, and pre-shrunk fabric limits length change. Decorations perform best when washed inside out, and when you skip fabric softener, which can soften prints.

How short is a standard crop top?
Our standard crop sits around 45 to 52 cm in body length at size M, ending near the natural waist. We also offer a shorter and a longer length. We can adjust to your target and sample it before bulk.
Which fabric works best for printing?
Cotton jersey is the most print-friendly. Rib is stretchier, and prints can distort if stretched hard, so keep artwork smaller. Light fleece prints well too, with a firmer base for bold graphics.
Can I order a baby tee cut?
Yes. Baby tees have a fitted body, shorter sleeves and a slightly cropped length. They suit retro styling. We can pattern a baby tee in jersey or rib, and grade it across your size range.
Do you do long-sleeve crop tops?
Yes, in jersey, rib and light fleece. Sleeve length, cuff finish and body length are adjustable. We would sample first to check fit through the arm and shoulder, which is key on cropped styles.
Can you add cut-outs or ties?
Yes. Ties, ruching, cut-outs and binding are all possible. Extra construction adds sewing time and cost, so ask for a sample plan and quote. We will flag any detail that affects fit or durability.
