Jacquard Socks That Put Your Design Underfoot
Socks are one of the best-selling add-ons for a clothing brand, and one of the few products where the whole design is knitted into the fabric. We make crew, ankle, quarter and tube socks in combed cotton, bamboo, merino and performance polyester blends, with jacquard logos, terry soles and custom packaging. Minimums start at 50 pairs.

Sock quality starts in the knitting machine
Our socks are knitted on 168 needle or 200 needle cylinders, tight enough to hold small text and thin outlines. Needle count controls detail: 168 needles suit bold logos and stripes, while 200 needles allow finer designs. The pattern is created by the machine knitting colored yarn in programmed positions, so there is nothing printed to crack or wash out.
Fabric content matters for comfort and durability. A common blend is 75 percent combed cotton, 22 percent polyamide and 3 percent elastane, which keeps shape without feeling synthetic. Bamboo viscose gives a softer hand, merino blends add warmth for winter, and polyester performance yarns move moisture away for running or cycling. Heels and toes are reinforced with extra nylon.
Construction details include a linked toe seam to avoid rubbing, a deep heel pocket, a ribbed arch band for grip and a cuff with elastic for staying power. Cushioned terry loops on the sole make a sock more suitable for training and workwear. Each of these choices changes unit cost, so we quote options side by side and make a sample pair so you can feel and wear it before bulk.

Jacquard detail
Logos, stripes, patterns and text are knitted straight into the sock in up to six colors per design. Artwork is converted into a knit chart at our sock studio, and you approve a simulation before production.
Reinforced heel and toe
Extra nylon in high-wear zones slows thinning and holes. For workwear and sport socks we increase the yarn density at the heel strike, balancing durability with a smooth fit against the foot.
Cushioning choices
Terry loops on the sole or full-foot cushion give padding for training and outdoor use. Flat knit stays slim for dress and lifestyle socks. We suggest the level that fits your retail price.
Cuff and length variations
Ankle, quarter, crew and knee-high lengths all use different patterns and yarn amounts. Ribbed or mesh instep panels, cuff stripes and heel tabs can be added to give a signature look.

Knit-in logo on the cuff or calf
The most visible spot. The logo is knitted in a contrast yarn so it shows crisply on any color. We can place it on the outside, inside or on both sides of the sock. Minimum text height is about 3 mm.
All-over patterns
Stripes, checks, camouflage or illustrated repeats can be knitted over the whole sock. We keep the number of colors under six to avoid floats inside the sock that could catch toes. A simplified version is available for tight budgets.
Sole and heel prints
A silicone grip pattern on the sole prevents slipping in gym, yoga or pilates socks. We can print your logo on the sole in a silicone dot pattern that doubles as grip. These are common for sportswear brands.
Packaging and sock bands
A printed paper band, header card or boxed gift set adds retail presence. Bands are printed in full color with barcodes and care text, and we can bundle three-pair sets with matching artwork.

Care & durability
Wash socks at 30 to 40 degrees inside out, using a gentle detergent and no bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or hang. Sock colors are fixed in the yarn, so the knitted logo does not fade or crack like a printed design.
Reinforced heels and toes slow wear, and the elastane in the cuff keeps its recovery after many washes. Socks are boarded and heat-set before packing, so they hold their shape and size consistently.

What is the smallest design detail you can knit?
A single line should be at least 1 mm wide, and text at least 3 mm tall for readability. On 200 needle machines we can go finer. We run a knit simulation so you can see how small elements will appear.
How many colors can one sock have?
We usually knit up to six colors in a design, plus the base. More colors add floats inside the sock that can affect comfort and cost. If your artwork is complex, we simplify it so it looks right when worn.
Can socks be left and right specific?
Yes, but most socks are knitted as a symmetrical tube and fit either foot. Asymmetric designs with left and right labels are possible, and they raise the pattern complexity and setup time, which we quote separately.
Do you offer grip socks for yoga or pilates?
Yes. We apply a silicone dot pattern to the sole, using your logo or a standard grid. Grip socks use a thicker cotton blend and a stronger heel pocket. Minimums are the same as other socks.
Can you pack socks in sets?
We pack in pairs, three-packs, five-packs or gift boxes. Each set can have a printed sleeve or box. Set packaging adds assembly time, so we confirm lead time with the packaging choice at quoting.
